
Our team
The Polish Youth Association in Ireland is led by a team of young people passionate about promoting Polish culture, history, and heritage. Our team organizes events, develops programs, and supports youth initiatives to deepen understanding and appreciation of Polish traditions and language.

Sonia Mocha
A graduate of the Dąbrowa Górnicza Business School, she has a degree in sociology and has been involved in educational and social activities within the Polish community for many years. She serves as president of the Polish Youth Union in Ireland and director of the Julian Tuwim Polish School in Limerick.
As a dedicated social activist, she organizes numerous conferences, interviews, and events that integrate and support the Polish community in Ireland. Her commitment and achievements have been recognized, among others, with the prestigious Diamond of Women's Business award.
Co-author of the book "Thank You for...", which explores the mother-daughter relationship, she combines her passion for writing with a social mission. She also collaborates on a project and Polish language course for Irish people implemented by the Limerick Care Education Training Board, promoting Polish culture and language internationally.

Grzegorz Mocha
A graduate of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, he is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Limerick in Ireland, where he conducts research in the field of modern technologies and artificial intelligence. For years, he has been actively involved in the Polish diaspora, combining technical expertise with a passion for social engagement.
He serves as president of the Polish Youth Union in Ireland, engaging in numerous educational and integration projects for children and young people of Polish descent. His commitment and determination make him an important pillar of the Polish community in Ireland, supporting its development, promoting culture, and fostering intergenerational bonds.
